At Un Mar de Colores, we believe every young person deserves to feel a sense of belonging, safety, and possibility when they stand at the water’s edge. Yet for many families across our region, the ocean has felt distant - socially, culturally, and financially out of reach.

Our programs remove those barriers. Through free, culturally rooted surf therapy, ocean education, and community stewardship, we create spaces where youth can heal, grow, and see themselves as part of the coastline. Students learn to read waves, build confidence, explore science, and develop a deep connection to place. Many return as volunteers, youth leaders, or environmental stewards—proof that access can change everything.
